Doris Lanell Johnson passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2015 in Athens, TX. She was born October 16, 1921 in Lockhart TX. to Stadler and Una Hill Polley. Married to J. P. Johnson for 53 years until he passed away June 1, 1993 at the age of 76. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her four daughters; Brenda Bean and husband Ronnie of Cummings, GA, LaNell Burkett of Van, TX, Linda Johnson of Scottsdale, AZ, and Debra Meachum and husband Bobby of Red Oak, TX. Two sons; Jerry Johnson of Waxahachie, TX, and Jackie Johnson and wife Shirley of Canton, TX. One brother Billy Polley; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
