Donald Joe Curton

Donnie, as we lovingly referred to him, passed from this life Wednesday December 11, in Dallas, Texas

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Ed and Kitty Curton, Waco Texas, Sister Billie June Davis, Dallas Texas, son Rodney Joe Curton, Groesbeck Texas, grandson , Bradley Brown, Groesbeck Texas, and niece Melissa June Davis, Dallas Texas.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Darlene Curton, Dallas Texas, beloved daughter Brinda Kay and Billy Brown, Groesbeck Texas, niece Stana and Allen Barton, Rockwall Texas, nephew Danny and Denise Davis, Manhattan New York, granddaughter Anna and Robert Mc Farland China Springs Texas, granddaughter Denise and Flint McLean Groesbeck Texas, grandson Wesley Joe and Connie Curton, Groesbeck Texas. He had cherished great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. He had many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Donnie,

Donnie was an avid sports fan especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, whom he never gave up on. He was an auto racing enthusiast, once owning and driving his own race car. Donnie loved a party, dancing and the Blues.

After a long career with Auto Zone in management, he retired a number of years ago.

Donnie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him. May he rest in peace surrounded by his loved ones who greeted him in Heaven.

Graveside Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday December 18 at Laurel Land Memorial Park Dallas Texas. Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home Dallas Texas,
