Donald was born in Bryan, TX on August 9, 1949, to Edna Bradley. He grew up in Roswell, NM, and was the second oldest of his 10 siblings. At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and was an active member of Galilee Baptist Church in Roswell, NM.
He graduated from Roswell High School in 1968, and not to long after enlisted in the United States Air Force. After serving his country he attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and earned his bachelor’s degree double majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Donald worked for the federal government, starting as a federal police officer he later completed a management development program, and took on a new role as a building manager which led to a long-distinguished career with the federal government for over 30 years.
Donald married Patricia Love, on July 12, 1980, in his hometown of Roswell, NM. They would go on to share their love for over 40 years.
He was fond of saying the phrase “I was blind, but now I see.”
Donald had a passion for collecting rare objects of interest, but his watch collection was the most impressive, and earned him the reputation of being known by everyone as the “watch man.” He loved music, traveling and was a true entrepreneur at heart.
After Donald moved from San Antonio to Lancaster, TX, he joined New Friendship Baptist Church where he served under the leadership of Pastor M.D. Peters, until his health condition would no longer allow him to attend.
On Monday, February 27, 2023, Donald Bradley entered “eternal rest”, at the age of 73, with his loving family by his side at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, Texas. He was welcomed home with open arms by his sister, Pamela Bradley and brother, Anthony Bradley.
His Life, Love and Legacy will always be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Patricia Bradley of Lancaster, TX; four daughters, Dawn Reed (Eric) of Palm Springs, CA, Monica Elliott (Roderick) of Little Rock, AR, Latoya Bradley of Lancaster, TX and Dana Bradley of Austin, TX; son, Marcus Moss (Jhane) of Lancaster, TX; fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; mother, Edna Bradley of Roswell, NM; four sisters, Beverly Bradley of Roswell, NM, Susan Scott of Marysville, CA, Sharla Bradley of Irving, TX and Kimberly Bradley of Roswell, NM; three brothers, Ray Bradley, Keith Bradley, and Rodney Bradley all from Roswell, NM, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
