Delores Gail McNally danced her way into heaven on December 21, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born February 6th, 1938 in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of Paul Richard and Ruth Camilleri and sister to her devoted brother Paul Camilleri.
Gail married Henry William McNally on January 27th, 1961 in Detroit. Together they had four daughters who loved her unconditionally. In 1975, the family moved to Dallas, TX. Where she started her deep relationship with St. Paul’s and the All Saints Catholic community.
Gail was a friend to all. Her heart and eyes were always fixed on Jesus and welcomed anyone into her home. Gail loved the beach. She was an avid reader, faithful prayer warrior, enjoyed any reason to celebrate with her family, dancing, traveling, date nights of Scrabble with her grandkids, and going to daily mass. Gail was a light of hope to the hopeless and an amazing friend to many. To know Gail was to love her. Gail was a devoted mother and grandmother which was her greatest job and she did it with humility and grace. Gail wore many hats, literally. She was known as Grandma, G-Ma, Tinkerbell, Gailie, Chippy Chip, The Gailic, but to her, the greatest hat she wore was being the devoted daughter to The Most High.
Her beloved parents, Paul and Ruth Camilleri, preceded Gail in death. She is survived and loved deeply by Henry McNally, daughter Lisa Anne Franz and her husband Johnny and their children Christian, Lily, Noelle, Juliet, and “Little” Johnny of Dallas, TX; daughter Theresa Jean Sellers and her husband Chuck and their children Mac and wife Emily, Grace, Cole, and Hunt of Dallas, TX; daughter Janine Gail Cameron and her husband Michael and their children Ryan and Lauren, CariLyn and her husband Ryan of Long Beach, CA.; daughter Kathleen Ruth Shuler and her husband Scott and their children Rubi, Luci, Easton, Kelsie and her husband Brad of Norman, OK.; her adoring brother Paul Richard Camilleri and wife Jean of Detroit, MI.; and all her loving nieces and nephews.
The visitation is from 5-8pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 followed by a Rosary Service to be held at 6:30pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home (3235 Lombardy Ln. Dallas, TX. 75220). Gail’s Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Thursday December 30, 2021 at 11:00am at All Saints Catholic Church (5231 Meadow Creek Dr. Dallas, TX. 75248). In honor of Gail, the wearing of bright and vibrant colors at her Celebration of Life service is strongly encouraged.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to All Saints Catholic Church.
Mom, you left a legacy to be so proud of. You will live on in our hearts for years to come. But your love for Jesus is what you instilled in each of us and we will meet again one day soon.
