On March 19,2017 @ 4:17p.m. My mother took her last breath in front of my dad,sister,brothers, daughter and my aunt Mary Jane and Uncle Wally and cousin Shelly. My uncle Eli and baby Eli were walking in when my mom took her last breath. This is so hard to accept and take in right now, I feel like I'm numb and I'm on auto pilot, if that makes any sense. 
I have so many mixed emotions right now, I'm mad, hurt, sad, lonely, confused, tired and I want to lash out but I can't seem to do it, I feel like I'm outside of my body and I'm looking at myself and it wants to give up, but then my other side keeps fighting and keeps forcing me to keep going... I'm so tired but I can't sleep, and when I do I wake up and the first thing out of my mouth is mommy mommy are you here, and then I began to cry.. My heart is heavy tonight with pain, I well be seeing my mommy for the first time since she passed away at the hospital, I beg for strength and courage for this well be hard for me and my family March 22, 2017.
I thank you lord for allowing my mom to be with us this long, I wasn't ready to let go and still had many things I wanted to do and share with my mom, but you saw my mom suffering in so much pain you came and wrap your arms around my momma and took her to relieve her of her pain. I'm not sure how I am able to continue to live with a big hole in my heart that we'll never heal or close, as my mom would expect me and my dad and sister and brothers to do is to continue to wake up and put one foot in front of the other and lean on each other for support... I'm not going to say bye Mommy but I well say this I well see you later and when my time comes I hope I see you with open arms and many kisses to make up for the time we were apart... I love you dearly mommy, my best friend, my hero, my everything... muah until we meet again you watch over us and guide each one of us to stay strong with one another...

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I will always remember Diane Cavazos fondly and have wonderful memories of many times spent with her during the younger years! She leaves behind a wonderful family and I know you will all be a great source of comfort and support to one another.
