Nguyen Bich Phuong, Diana, age 58, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2020 at home surrounded by family due to lung cancer complications. She was born February 19, 1962 in Saigon, Vietnam. She is preceded in death by her mother, Cecile Kim Pham.
She came to America in 1983 and has 5 children, one grandchild, two sisters, and predeceased by her brother, Hung Nguyen.
Phuong was a strong-willed, intelligent, and outgoing woman. She was a thoughtful person who was always willing to help others. Phuong was a supportive mother to her children. She enjoyed being at home with family, but also an avid traveler.
Phuong’s hobbies included traveling and cooking. Her favorite flowers were roses.
Phuong was a tireless and persistent businesswoman. Never afraid to try something new, she changed her profession multiple times. For many years Phuong worked at Airborn in Addison, TX. In 2006, Phuong moved to Las Vegas, NV where she transitioned to owning a tile and countertop company. She then settled in Forest, Mississippi in 2015 where she became a poultry farmer.
Phuong is survived by her spouse Cattam Thiem; sisters, Tram(Tina) Pham and Nga(Nana) Nguyen; her sons, Han Nguyen, Song Nguyen, and Hoan(Tony) Nguyen; her daughters and their husbands, Audrey Ha and Chris Ha, Hanh Nguyen and Daniel Jung; grandchild, Theodore Ha; plus nephews and nieces.
