The Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2019. The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM the same day. It will be held at Calvary Hill North Chapel in the Main Mausoleum.
A mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Calvary Hill North Chapel in the Main Mausoleum. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill.
David was born in Dallas, Texas to Alejandro and Josephine Rubio on October 18, 1933. After graduating from Crozier Tech High School, he married the beautiful Adela Guerra Hernandez on November 28, 1953 in Dallas, Texas. He heroically served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany from July 1953 to July 1956. He supported his family as a draftsman for Glitch Inc. for 40+ years. After his retirement, he dedicated his life to his family and his hobby of caricature drawings.
David is preceded in death by his father Alejandro Rubio, mother Josephine Rubio, and brothers John Alex Rubio and Manuel.
David is survived by his wife: Adela H. Rubio, children: David Rubio Jr, Abram Rubio and spouse Marchelle, Ophelia Chapa and spouse Ruben, sister: Audelia Rubio, 8 grandchildren: Natalie Rubio and spouse Alfonso Delgado, Amethyst Baca and spouse David, Adam, Noe Chapa and spouse Myda, Vicky and Michael Garcia, David and Lily Rubio, 8 great-grandchildren: Adam Noe, Matthew, Von, Damien, Joshua, Jacob, Jaxson, Vincent, Pets: Milo and Bella.
Pallbearers will be his five grandsons: Noe Chapa, David Baca, Alfonso Delgado, David Rubio, and Michael Garcia, as well as his eldest great-grandson Adam Noe Rubio.
