He was born June 14, 1950, in Dallas, Texas to the late Johnny Glen Faulkner and Mildred Cumming Faulkner. He was the 8th of nine children. He was married to Gwen on January 27, 1973.
David had a career in the Dry-Cleaning industry. He owned Faulkner’s Cleaners in East Dallas for 45 years.
David was a Hot Rod enthusiast since his youth, helping his older brothers build their race cars, and continued this passion into adulthood. In his home garage, memories were created, and magic made, as he taught his children about Hot Rods and life. He enjoyed gardening and was a Mr. Fix-It for his family. He loved his family and was a proud father and grandfather.
He is survived by his son, David Aaron Faulkner, daughter-in-law Amy, daughter Rachel Lee Forghani, son-in-law Mark, grandchildren, Jordan, Gage, Taylor, and Ryan, and siblings, Barbara Hixson, Franklin Faulkner, John Faulkner, Marvin Faulkner, Linda Vandling, and Cynthia Hrabal, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Gus W. Faulkner and Glen E. Faulkner.
