Cory James Blackmon

1/4/79 – 7/31/10

Cory James Blackmon passed away peacefully July 31, 2010 after a courageous battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Cory loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being at the lake with his friends and family. He graduated from Plano Senior High in 1997 and was a roofing contractor, owning his own business. He is survived by his three beautiful children, Kailey 6; Talan 5, and Sky 2; mother and stepfather Gerry and Wayne Bauer of Plano, father and stepmother Harold and Melanie Blackmon of Waxahachie, sister Brandy Crawford Cox, step brothers and sisters, Wes and Robyn Bauer, Ashley, Travis and Andrew Blackmon, Jesse and Jeremy Tuholski and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday August 4th at 2:00pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Road; Dallas, TX 75252 (www.dignitymemorial.com)

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Cory Blackmon Childrens Trust; Benchmark Bank; 5700 Legacy Drive;
