Clarence Eugene (Pete) Welch age 91 of Mathis, Texas passed away June 5th 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Clarence was born February 27th 1926 in Deschler, Nebraska to John and Margie Welch. Clarence was a proud WWII Navy Veteran, serving as a Seabee in the South Pacific. Clarence is survived by his daughter Patricia Lemmons, his son Thomas Harrison Welch, (Gena), grandchildren Lee Lemmons (Kari), Mark Lemmons (Melissa), Thomas Welch (Reesha), Jessica Welch and Amanda Welch; great grandchildren, Christopher Lemmons (Samantha) and Kaitlynn Lemmons; and one great great grandchild, Madi. Pete will be greatly missed but we hope the fishing is better where he is now.
