Christine Fisher

Christine Fisher, born December 16th 1950 in Buttevant, Ireland was finally granted relief from her battle against lung cancer as God lovingly called her to be with Him on September 11, 2012 at her home in Plano TX. Chris came to the USA in 1972 to pursue her nursing career, to which she compassionately dedicated herself for 40 years. In 1974, she married Gary Fisher and together they faithfully loved each other and their three children Gary, Deirdre and Ryan. Chris was an exceptional mother to them and an even better Grandmother. Sean, Natalie, Chloe, Clara and Liam will forever be blessed by their Nana’s loving grace. Chris has left a lasting impression in the memories of all who knew her. She was strong, loving, compassionate, full of life and laughter and was unwavering in her Catholic faith. Chris will be greatly missed by her family and many friends as she journeys to her new home in heaven. There she will be joined with her mom and dad, Maureen and John O’Regan and her dearly beloved sister Mary. Her surviving siblings, John Joe, Anne and Willie Anthony will forever keep her in their hearts. Visitation will be held at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13, 2012, from 6:00-8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 10:00 am, with a reception to follow. Graveside Service will follow at Plano Mutual Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
