Celia Solis

Celia was raised in West Dallas on Vilbig Street and attended Benito Juarez Elementary School .

She married Sergio Solis in 1976 and the couple had no children, but Sergio inherited four daughters. Celia served her community as a Medical Records and Radiology Tech Assistant at Orthopedics Associates of Dallas for more than thirty-five years.

In her spare time, Celia enjoyed dancing, watching television, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul, friendly, loving, and having a passion for ALL of her family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda Rodriguez; granddaughter, Anita C. Paredez; parents, Jesus and Adelita Valdez; brothers, Santiago Valdez, Crecencio Valdez, Jesse Valdez, Antonio Valdez, and Eliseo Valdez; sisters, Velia Estrada, Audelia Jacinto, and Angelina Antillon. She is survived by her husband, Sergio Solis; daughters, Laura C. Gonzales, Sallie Gonzales, and Adela J. Gonzales; sister, Adelita Valdez; brother, Gilbert Valdez; grandchildren, R. Christopher Paredez, C. Dominique Hock, Nathan G. Paredez, Gyna-Monica Ybarra, Lauren A. Rodriguez, Rheannon A. Rodriguez, Andrew A. Aranda, and Allegra A. Aranda; eight great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
