Mrs. Carolyn W. Finley

Carolyn was the third child of eight children born to the late George and Odell Hickman Walker Jr. She spent her early years in Wheelock and Edge Texas, Carolyn was a member of Wheelock Church and later moved to Bryan Texas with her parents. Carolyn was a student in the Wheelock and Bryan Public School System. On December 1, 1957, Carolyn married the late James Aaron Finley, they became the proud parents of five children; three girls, Carolyn D. Finley, Debbie D. Finley, Debbie D. Finley and two boys, James A. Finley, Jr. and Tronald D. Finley. Carolyn was a devoted wife and mother. After a brief stay in Bryan They decided to make Dallas, Texas their home. While living in Dallas, She became a member of True Vine Church of God in Christ. Carolyn is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one grandson, one sister (Emma Jean), three brothers and one niece. She is survived by one son, Tronald D. Finley of Dallas, three daughters; Debbie D. Finley of Dallas, Carolyn D. Wilson and Sherry L. Johnson both of McKinney Texas, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Joe Lee Walker; two sisters, Evelyn W. James, Barbara W. Guillory (Andon) all of Bryan, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
