Carol Deanne Hatcher

Carol D. Hatcher passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2024.

She was born on January 4, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas, to Gaylord and Annabell Carter. They moved to Dallas in 1948. Carol loved and supported her family with great passion and care.

She is survived by her four children; son, John and wife Victoria Straughan; Daughter, Tammy and husband Barry Carrol; son, Ted and wife Ellie Straughan; daughter, Marjorie Tibbs and husband Bill; brother, Bill and wife Sandra Carter; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, also many loving family members.

A visitation for Carol will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218. A committal service will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
