Carol Gibson, dear mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 10, 2013. She had an amazing curiosity for life and was devoted to her family and church. Carol ministered to many of Highland Park UMC's homebound members by calling them faithfully each week for a dozen years and participated in church classes and groups. She is survived by the Gibsons, Burney, her son, Katie, Meg, and Tia, as well as Janie Harvey, caregiver and loving friend,.
