Bryan Gene Banks 63, of Red Oak, Texas, passed on to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 1, 2021 after a long, hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Bryan was born in Dallas, Texas on October 12, 1957 and graduated from Bishop Dunne Catholic High School class of 1975. Bryan helped run the family business, Banks Stone Service, along with his father, mother & brother. Bryan was a devout Catholic and enjoyed landscaping at St. Joseph Catholic Church, dealing BlackJack with the Knights of Columbus events and was always quick with a good hearted, sarcastic comment. Bryan had the honor of becoming a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 8417. Family was everything to him and he will be deeply missed.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father Bryan Floyd Banks. He is survived by his mother Agnes Banks; his wife Matilda Kate Banks; his children Stephanie & spouse Michael Hughes, Ashley Banks and Bryan Adam Banks; grandsons Ashton and Caleb Hughes; brother Glenn & spouse Sharon Banks; nieces Tiffani Dygert & Brittani Kimsey; great nieces & nephews; his faithful canine companion Maximillion; many cousins, friends, fellow Brother Knights, and Dunnees.
Services will begin Monday June 7, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 600 East Marvin Ave., Waxahachie, TX 75165. Visitation will be 5 pm to 7 pm in the Church. Rosary will begin at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass at 10 am Tuesday June 8, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Interment following the Funeral Mass at 12 pm at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 South R. L. Thornton Frwy, Dallas, TX 75232. There will not be a formal procession to the cemetery.

We as a family will continue to honor Bryan and his battle by walking in the Dallas Purplestride events in the future and feel free to walk with us.
