Born in Dallas, Texas, on June 20th, 1990, Brianna Brault Jordan was the second child born to James S. Jordan and Barbara Brault Jordan. She passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023 with her family at her side, after a year-long battle with colon cancer.
Brianna attended The Lamplighter School through 4th grade, and attended The Episcopal School Of Dallas for middle and high school. At ESD, Brianna graduated with honors. Her sport of choice was crew, winning a silver medal in doubles at the prestigious Stotesbury Cup Regatta in Philadelphia.
In 2012, Brianna graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BFA degree in Sculpture with a minor in Marketing. While a student, she received a summer internship at the Smithsonian Museum where Brianna applied her 3D imaging skills to a project for the Egyptian section of the museum. “Living Room by Brianna Jordan”, a sculptural park installation, was chosen by University City as part of their Sculpture Series, and remained on display for one year. In St. Louis, Brianna enjoyed volunteering with Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Until her passing, Brianna managed a customer success team at Numerator in Chicago, Illinois.
Brianna’s special loves included her dog Hattie, spending time with her extended family in Pentwater, MI, Christmas traditions with grandparents, and traveling with her sister Annalisa, friends, family, and occasionally by herself. Travels included Iceland, Mexico, France, Italy, Hungary, Columbia, Netherlands, Belgium, England, Switzerland, and Brazil. Brianna’s thirst for adventure included attending Burning Man with close friends.
Brianna’s friends and family will forever remember her humor, quick wit, thirst for adventure, and caring manner. Recent joys included welcoming Kevin as her brother-in-law and the birth of Jackson, her nephew.
Brianna is survived by her parents, James and Barbara Jordan of Dallas, TX, her sister Annalisa (Kevin) Michelmore and nephew, Jackson of Danville, CA, grandfather Charles R. Brault of St. Joseph, MI. Aunts and uncles include Cathy (Mike) MacKenzie of St. Joseph, MI, Charlie (Sherry) Brault of Stevensville, MI, Pam (Mark) Williams of Grand Rapids, MI, Joseph Jordan, of Peru, IL, and many loving cousins and friends.
