Bonnie Young Thibodeaux

She was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana on November 7, 1962. Bonnie graduated from Bayou Lafourche Academy and received a BS, Business Administration, Accounting from Louisiana State University. She was also a licensed CPA in Louisiana.

She was married to Michael Paul Thibodeaux on February 14, 1992.

Bonnie had a career in technology working for Dell Technologies, Alitek, OpenText, Dell EMC, EMC and PriceWaterhouse Coopers. She was a member of the AICPA and Louisiana Society of CPAs.

Bonnie enjoyed volunteering and was generous with her time. She participated in and organized numerous events. Many involved Autism Speaks and she was an advocate for various other autism/special needs groups. Other passions were her children, travelling, shopping, and gardening.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Andrew Schuyler Thibodeaux, and Kathryn Rose Thibodeaux. Her children’s father, Michael Paul Thibodeaux. Her sister, Anne Vroon of Louisiana and various nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anna Mae and Andrew Frank Young Sr., and her brothers, Brent Young and Andrew Young Jr.

A funeral will be held on September 26, 2023, at 1:00pm at Ted Dickey Funeral Home Dallas.
