Ms. Bettye Jean Malone

A Godly life ended December 29, 2021 when Bettye Malone was taken from us. We know she is at rest with our Heavenly Father. After so much suffering the Lord took from her all pain and took her to Himself, where there is no pain and no burden of a tear

Bettye Jean Foster Malone was born January 6, 1938 in Arcadia, Louisiana to the late Millard and Byrda Foster. She dedicated her life to Christ at a young age and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Arcadia, Louisiana. She attended the public-school system of Grambling Louisiana and farther her education and graduated from Grambling State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She went on to attend Prairie View AM to complete her Masters in counselor. She retired from education after more than 30 years

Bettye was always one who thought of her family in loving care.

Bettye is survived by her children: Mark S. (Cecelia) Malone Sr., Orlando C. Malone, Tracye E. Williams, and Patrick T. Malone; 13 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grand Children; sister Myrtis Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Bettye was preceded in death by her Parents Millard and Byrda Foster; Son Vincent L. Malone and Sister Lennie Pearl Collier.
