Betty Sue Wommack, passed away peacefully in her home in Mabank, TX on Sunday May the 29th. She was 92 years old. Betty was born in 1929, and grew up in Irving, TX. She married Calvin Authur Wommack, and raised three children on a farm in Dallas County. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin, son Richard, and daughter Pattie. She is survived by her daughter Sharon, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Betty had lived in the Cedar Creek area for several years, first in Gun Barrel City then in Mabank. She was active with a 42 club at the local senior center, and lived for those Wednesday games. There was nothing she loved more than winning at dominoes, or card games. She was an avid reader, she especially loved reading westerns and murder mysteries.
She will be missed by all her family and friends, but she is now reunited with her loved ones who passed before her.
