Betty Lou Adley entered this world on: August 3, 1930, preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucille Adley. For the past three years, Betty was a resident at Pearl Norden Care Center at Juliette Fowler Homes. She was grateful for the loving care and kindness from her cousin and guardian, Louann DeWitt. While at Juliette Fowler, she interacted with staff, employees and residents -- knowing most of them by name and background. Betty was born in Dallas and lived most of her life in Oak Cliff with a family that espoused the Catholic faith. Betty attended Ursaline Academy. She was employed for a time at Volks Department Store. In her youth, Betty enjoyed traveling with her parents on automobile trips. She had a remarkable memory and recall of family history and events for several generations. Betty had a kindness of heart and spirit where she could relate to the under-privileged. Although never married, Betty enjoyed and loved children and seeing families with children. Betty enjoyed and looked forward, these past few years, to outings with her cousin and guardian, Louann DeWitt, taking her out to eat and for drives around White Rock Lake and the Dog Park. She left this world on: March 11, 2011, and will be missed -- may God grant her eternal life.
