Antonio Lopez

Antonio Lopez, 82, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He was born January 11, 1940 in Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico to Jesus H. Lopez and Antonia Gutierrez de Lopez. Antonio was raised in Chihuahua.

He married Olga Lopez in 1966 and the couple had two children.

In his spare time enjoyed listening to music, watching movies (de los Almada) singing, and he loved mariachis.

His family and friends will always remember him as a funny guy who enjoyed a good laugh, and was a very sweet person.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus H. Lopez and Antonia Gutierrez de Lopez.

He is survived by his wife, Olga Lopez; daughters, Susana Lopez and Zulema Lopez; granddaughters, Brunella Castellanos and Lia Najera; grandsons, Carlos Alberto Rodriguez, Aldo Garcia, Abdel Gonzalez and Zencel Najera; great-grandson, Caleb Castellanos; great-granddaughters, Natalia Rodriguez, Haley Andrade and Hailey Andrade.

A visitation for Antonio will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. A rosary will occur Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 7:15 PM to 8:00 PM, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, September 2, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 2601 Singleton Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75212. An interment will occur Friday, September 2, 2022 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at Oak Grove Memorial Park, 1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060.
