Anna Merle Zeller, born to Neta and Claude Denman on January 24, 1933, in Quinlan, Texas, stepped peacefully into her Savior’s arms on October 13, 2024, in Corsicana, Texas, at 91 years of age. Known for her servant heart and beautiful smile. She touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness, grace, and elegance.
Anna’s passions in life included gardening, shopping, and connecting with people. She found joy in traveling, especially on cruises, and was an avid bowler, dancer and even took up golf in her senior years. She worked for Hunt Oil, Frito Lay, and Sun Oil during her career. A fond memory from her time at Frito Lay was when she brought grocery sacks full of Fritos home for the neighborhood children to enjoy, exemplifying her generosity and love for her community.
She was predeceased by her loving husbands, Ralph Wellborn and Raymond Zeller, her mother Neta Denman Beasley, her father Claude Denman, and her step-father Henry Beasley. Anna was also preceded in death by her siblings Thelma Porter, John Robert Denman, Claudine Thomas, Myrtice Wilson, and her beloved daughter Debby Jones.
She is survived by her sister, Mable Foster; her daughters, Becky Felts and her husband Randy, and Kathy Littleton and her husband Ronnie. She leaves behind eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will cherish her memory.
A public visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024. The funeral service will take place at the same location at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 22, followed by a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
