Alma Jean later moved to Odessa Texas a young lady and found herself going to Parks Memorial COGIC. She sought to make a change and listened to the voice of the Lord that told her that it was time to make a change. There she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and continued for faith that was delivered unto the saints. She attended classes from Texas Northeast Jurisdictional for license and credential holders, and there she received her missionary license for the COGIC. Shortly after the passing of Bishop Smith, Missionary Lawrence thought it necessary to move her membership to Greater Cathedral COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Johnson.
