Alejandro was raised in West Dallas, Palacios Street and attended Crozier High. He served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the US Army.
He married Betty Martinez in 1970 and the couple had 5 Children. He was a Bus Driver and Rail Operator at Dart where he worked for more than 25 years.
In his spare time Alejandro enjoyed building tank models and being at the VA Hospital. His family and friends will always remember him as a Vietnam Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents Marcelino and Lusina; his sisters, Erminie Ovalle, Juana Orozco, Abel and David Salazar.
Survived by: Brother Alfred Salazar, Sister Olga Lopez, Irene Gomez, JoAnn Salazar Montoya, his 14 Grandchildren Joseph, Aaron, Ariel, Jacob, Alexander, Lesley, Eden, Sara, Alexandra, Julian, Mackenzie, Talia, Ximena, Audrey; 2 Great Grandchildren Naomi and Galilea.
A visitation for Alejandro will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247.
