Al Latimer

Alfred Henry, “Al”, Latimer, age 88, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Plano, TX. He was born on April 4, 1934, in Lohn, TX to George James and Jewell Marie Thornton Latimer. Al graduated from Abilene High School in Abilene, TX in 1952.

Al married Cloyde Annette Sanders in 1952 and the couple had four daughters. He held multiple senior level positions at several prominent Savings & Loan, Securities and Corporations in the Mortgage Loan Industry, as well as excelling in Property Development and Management. He traveled through much of his professional career in the DFW area, with a longtime friend, Pete Callis.

In Al’s spare time, he enjoyed playing golf with his brother-in-law Jerry Cavitt and friend Phil Seibert.

Al is preceded in death by his parents and brother George Lee Latimer.

Survivors are his four daughters, Linda Munger of No. Richland Hills, TX, Lissa Martinez of Plano, TX, Tara Sassine of Plano, TX, Tami Morrison of Plano, TX, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Surviving brothers and sisters are Robert D. Latimer of Rockport, TX, Pam Hopkins of Wagoner, OK and Larecia Hampton of Truby, TX.
