Marie Louise Bertin

Marie Louise was born on March 25, 1922, in Belledune to the late Alphonse Lanteigne and the late Alexina Thériault.

Louise was a dedicated wife and mother a hard worker from an early age, mostly as a nanny until she married in 1944. She was mostly a stay-at-home mom, but did work in the mill as a cook for many years. She loved knitting, she would often be seen working on a pair of socks for someone, she was a generous, kindhearted person. She loved to cook and have people over for a meal. She would welcome all who came in the house, always ready to offer a cup of tea or coffee and cake or cookies.

She will be greatly missed.

Besides her husband Stephen, she is survived by her children, Patrick Bertin (Diane), Paul Bertin (Joyce), Marc Bertin (Geraldine) Bernadette Bertin Harquail, Madeleine Bertin, Michel Bertin (Anne-Mary), Pierre Bertin (Caroline), Andre Bertin 19 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren to the 5th generation. Half-sister, Marguerite Lanteigne of Belledune, Patricia (Lanteigne) Webster of Calgary, and Elizabeth Lanteigne of Belledune Besides her parents and husband of 65 years, she was predeceased by ……. a daughter Marguerite Bertin 1 grandson Richard Bertin, 1 great granddaughter Kaitlyn Lanteigne Fitzgerald, 1 brother Edgar Lanteigne, 8 Half-brothers, Alphonse, Burt, Leonard Albert, Pete, Hector, Alex and Adrian, 3 Half-sisters, Doreen Lanteigne, Therese and Evangeline.
