James Stephen Gadioma

December 26, 1951 – December 4, 2024

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James Stephen Gadioma, age 72, who entered into eternal rest on December 4, 2024, in Gardena, California. Born on December 26, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, James was the eldest of eight children and grew up surrounded by the love and laughter of his family. From an early age, he exhibited a zest for life that he carried throughout his years. His love of travel, his deep connection to family, and his unwavering loyalty to his friends were hallmarks of his character.

James was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Teresita, who was the light of his life in his later years; his two daughters, Stephanie and Andrea, whom he adored and raised with a steady, guiding hand; and his precious grandsons, Anthony and Kellen, who brought him immeasurable joy and with whom he cherished many treasured moments.

James was not only a pillar of strength for his family but also a deeply committed member of his community. He served as a lector at St. Catherine Laboure Parish, where his faith was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a proud and active member of his Ateneo Alumni Group, always wearing his “true Atenista” badge with honor and pride, forming lifelong bonds that were central to his heart.

On December 4th, James was lovingly greeted at Heaven’s gates by his mother, Maria; his father, Demosthenes; and his first wife and true love, Gloria, who preceded him in death. Their reunion brings comfort to those left behind, knowing he is now surrounded by the love of those who went before him.

James' legacy of kindness, faith, and love for his family and community will live on forever in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. His spirit, his laughter, and his love will continue to guide and inspire us as we hold him close in our memories.

May James rest in eternal peace, forever surrounded by the love of his Heavenly family.
