It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Henry J. Angel on April 27, 2019. Born July 15, 1931 in Santa Monica to parents Casiano Angel and Adeliyda Garcia, he was the youngest of seven children all of whom preceded him in death. Henry served in the United States Army in 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1956 after serving in the Korean Conflict. Upon his return, he lived in West Los Angeles and Venice where he and his loving wife, Lillian (deceased) lived happily for over 40 years. They had four children: Linda (Louie - deceased), Henry (Tina), Paul, and Johnny (Janeth) and are survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to love and greatly miss him. He is befriended, loved and remembered by all whose lives he touched in the course of his assorted careers as a cabinet maker, brick mason, vocation educational teacher, and, lastly, the one that brought him the most joy - working as a supervisor/usher at the Inglewood Forum - sitting behind the Laker bench at all of the home games. Please keep him and our family in your prayers as we lay him to rest.
