Garfield Ray Wharton

Garfield "Ray" Wharton born on September 21, 1960 died on October 10, 2024 at the age of 64. He resided in Lignum, VA and passed away at UVA Hospital, Charlottesville, VA. He enjoyed working, being outside and bluegrass music. He never sat still, he believed there was always something that needed to be worked on and fiddled with. Ray is survived by his mother Ruth Harris, sister Judy Taylor, brother Jerry Wharton, his children Ashley Wharton and David Dodson, nephew Reggie Maslock, niece Katie Harris and many more nieces & nephews. A visitation for Garfield will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia 22701.
