Mr. Willie J. Flanigan of Birmingham Alabama formerly of Hanceville passed away on July 6, 2013 at his residence at the age of 74. He was born in Hanceville Alabama on December 30, 1938 to Gentle Lee and Ila Staton Flanigan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers: Gene Reed, Norris Flanigan and Lawrence Flanigan, Sister: Linda Simpking.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Elder Authur Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Colony Community Cemetery.
Survivors are: Wife: Virgie Pryor Flanigan, Children: Cynthia Arrington, Helene Smith, Rosalind Operton, Jeffery Flanigan, Jerrold Flanigan, Everette Flanigan, Tonya Flanigan, Craig Flanigan, Byron Flanigan, Brian Flanigan, Linda Jackson, Tracy Duncan, Rochelle Edwards, Chiquita Render, Charlsia Render, Charles Render. Brothers and Sisters: Wavelyn Malcom, Helen Johnson, MacArthur Flanigan, Anthony Flanigan, Floyd Flanigan. 22 Grandchildren, 8 Step-Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Moss Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
