Sandra June Edge, age 79, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Sandra was born October 15, 1941 to James F. and Thursa Miller Ratliff. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter: Cindy Edge Lee.
Visitation for Sandra will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home. A lie in state will occur Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cullman First Baptist Church with a celebration of life funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Pastor Tom Richter and Dr. Edwin Hayes will officiate the service and interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
Mrs. Edge was a long time member of Cullman First Baptist Church. She worked in the family business, Cullman Cabinet, in the office and the "Added Touch" showroom until retiring. Sandra enjoyed gardening, interior design, cultivating Japanese Maples and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 61 years, James E. Edge; daughter Jamie E. Nelson; and son Robert Edge (Leigh); sister Margo Messersmith, brother Jackie Ratliff (Ann) and brother Dennis Ratliff; grandsons: Chad Nelson (Meghan), Patrick Nelson, Brandon Lee (Bethany), Justin Lee, Tyler Edge, Nathan Edge and Oliver Edge; granddaughter Annalee Edge; great grandchildren: River and Rhys Nelson and Emilee and Ethan Lee.
Serving as pallbearers are Chad Nelson, Brandon Lee, Patrick Nelson, Justin Lee, Tyler Edge, Nathan Edge and Oliver Edge.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations to Cullman First Baptist Church.
