Richard Carl Beckman

Rick was born November 3rd, 1947, in Birmingham, AL to Henry A. Beckman and Annie B. Beckman He was preceded in death by his parents. One sister, Linda Kairitis and nephew, Charles “Chuck” Lewis Beckman.

Rick was married to the love of his life, Margaret “Margie” MacMaster Beckman for 48 years, they have three sons: Richard Andrew “Andy” Beckman (Debra), Robert J. “Rob” Beckman (Becky) and Carl A. Beckman (Jennifer). Two grandchildren, Grant Henry Beckman and Aubrey Rose Beckman.

In addition, Rick is survived my brother, Charles Beckman and sister, Frances Bryram (Gary) and several nieces + nephews. Rick was loved by many close friends and clients.

Rick opened his business as a real estate appraiser (Beckman Appraisal Firm) for 40 years in Decatur. Moved to Cullman and was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church as well as a Knights of Columbus with the Church.

A rosary service will be held Friday November 8th, 2024, 6:00pm-7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 205 3rd Avenue SE Cullman, AL 35055. Funeral Mass will be Saturday November 9th, at 10:00 AM with a graveside service to follow at Good Hope Cemetery 2708-2798 CR-437 Cullman, AL 35057. A meal will be served after the graveside concludes at Scared Heart Life center.
