Mrs. Maurine Eva Drake of Vinemont Alabama passed away on November 9, 2012 at Cullman Health Care Center at the age of 89. She was born on March 4, 1923 in Cullman County to Raymond and Joyce Holmes Norris. She is preceded in death by: Parents, Husband: Verlon J. Drake, Daughter: Julia Faye England, Daughter-In-Law: Wanda Drake.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at East Flint Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Driver and Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating. Mrs. Drake will lie in state at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will be in Flint Creek Cemetery.
Survivors are: 2 Sons: Darrell K. (Sandy) Drake, Gaylon W. (Shirley) Drake, 3 Sisters: Louise Grizzard, Margie Goodwin and Mauline Sloan, Son-In-Law: Eddie England, 10 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday November 11, 2012 from 5:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home.
