Funeral Services for Mr. Marshall Lee “Sandman” Bailey, age 54 of Hanceville, will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shelton Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery, with Bro. Richard Bailey and Bro. Ray Ponder officiating.

Mr. Bailey passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He was born on February 14, 1957 to the late, Charlie Hugh and Alice Mae McCollum Bailey. Marshall was a machine repairman for Chrysler Corp over 16 years and an avid outdoor man, and making friends was easy to him.
Survivors include his Wife of 32 yeas Tammie Shelton Bailey; two Sons – Matthew (Meredith) Bailey and Casey Bailey; two 2 – Sisters – Della Marie Bailey and Mary Louise Bailey; four 4 – Brothers – Jerry Cecil (Cindy) Bailey, Thomas Earl (Kathy) Bailey, Henry Allan Bailey and Doyle Lynn (Kim) Bailey; two 2 – Grandchildren – Erin Leigh Bailey and Everett Laron Bailey; and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, other Family and Friends.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
