Mr. Kenneth James Ball

Mr. Kenneth James Ball of Vinemont Alabama passed away on March 23, 2010 at the age of 51. Mr. Ball was born on September 27, 1958 in Hartselle Alabama to Melvin James and Freda Joyce Ball. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Duke and Rev. Tim Aris officiating. Interment will be in Panama Baptist Church Cemetery.

Kenneth’s first love was for his family. He was married to Dale for 33 wonderful years. They had 2 beautiful daughters, Stacy and Britney, which granted him 2 sons, Brad and Chip. The sparkle really came into his eyes with the birth of his 2 grandchildren, Chase and Cabri. Kenneth was a home builder for Valley Homes in Priceville for some 15 to 20 years before starting Ball Construction. He loved his work and strived to please his homeowners. Kenneth loved Alabama Football and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing outside with his grandchildren. He was the one man you could count on at any given moment. He was a lover, comforter and a provider. He was a soft spoken, hard working and generous man. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Rest in peace “Daddy”.

Mr. Ball is preceded in death by: Father: Melvin James Ball, Grandparents: David and Myrtie Bennefield and Samuel Andrew and Georgia Ball.

Mr. Ball is survived by: Wife: Glenda Dale Woodall Ball, 2 Daughters: Britney Danielle (Chip) Perry of Cullman, Stacy Nicole (Brad) Blackwood of Cullman, Mother: Freda Joyce Ball Johnson of Cullman, Step-Father: Bennie Clifford Johnson of Cullman, 2 Sisters: Wanda Millwood (Wendell) Echols of Cullman, Sonya Ashley (Gary) Jenkins of Lawrence County, 2 Step-Sisters: Anna (Ed) Rink and Amy (Matt) Anderson, 2 Grandchildren: Chase Blackwood and Cabri Blackwood, a host of Nieces , nephews and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Mark Powell, Heath Lake, Kim Ball, Blake Ball, Blake Millwood, Jason Baker and Stephen Millwood.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 25, 2010 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
