July 30th 2024. I felt you today John. First time I cried like a river over you in a while. I'm not saying I don't cry I'm saying I don't lose it most of the time. I was scrolling on my phone and came across a lady playing one song so I looked at her page and there it was. A song I had to open up. I don't know how many tines I heard this song from you over the years but I can tell you my kids heard it to Dakota has it tattooed on her arm because of you. You are my sunshine and you were our sunshine!!!! I love you John and man do I miss you!!!! Loves from home old man I felt ya today!!!!!

Today I miss you more than ever. Breakfast was good and I had a fried egg for ya. John I will always remember the things you taught me and the times we shared. You taught me the ways of life and never give up on what you want. Growing up was tough not having a lot but you always made sure we had what we needed. The old farm is looking pretty good and we still have a lot of work to do but it's getting there.  There isn't a day I don't think of you and most days I'm in tears when I do. Times are getting hard again and honestly I'm glad you're out of this old cruel world and looking down with Nanny Bo watching over us. Red has gotten so big and man he's getting to be a handful for sure. We all miss you and the days never get easier and I know they never will. Everytine a memory pops up on the Facebook of us eating or just loafering around I smile from ear to ear but everytine it also brings so much pain because I wanted to enjoy some Sunday morning breakfast time for many years to come. John I love and miss you more than you will ever know and I know you're setting beside me at the table right now watching over us all. Till next time John Conn. 

Had a dream about you last night. You're face was so clear and I didn't want to wake up. I miss you so much John and there is so many things i wanted you to see. Loved our Sunday morning breakfast together with the all the birds. Red is growing so fast and he talks about you from time to time. He misses you to and I know you would be so proud of him. He loves being out here in the counry and thinks he's a country boy now. It's hard to look out these windows without thinking about you, Nene, Pa Conn and Ma Conn. You all worked your whole life for this farm and I'm glad I'm back out here. Just wished that we would have gotten to eat breakfast in the new house. Days don't get easier at all like they say. You were the only Dad I ever had and losing you cut me deep. Thanks for all you did for me and thanks for raising me. I love you John Conn and words can't describe how much I miss you!!!! I can't wait to see you again old man!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about Johnny  passing....sorry for the loss of a father, grandfather...and cousin...uncle....and friend he will be greatly missed. I have  fond memories  of  Johnny.....and  dad picking at each other  down through  the years.....I wished I could be there  for the family  but I'm on 12  hour shifts on night shift with an  outage with the company I work for.....again I'm so sorry for your loss..May God see the family through..sincerely. ......Marcus. I still can't believe you're gone I'm going to miss your hugs and telling me you love me always calling me your granddaughter and I'm going to miss you wearing those shoes with the zippers they never would zip it gave your outfit a little more pizazz you had such a great heart I never would let anybody go with a bad day you always had a smile on her face I really am going to miss you paw!!

Sad to hear of Johnny passing he will be missed in the community. He was well liked by all that knew him. May the lord be with his family at this time of need.

As I am going through all the photos of us, all I can look at is that smile on your face when you were around us and it just makes me so sad but happy to know that you really loved us with all your heart and that you would do anything you could for us. You stood by me through everything even the times when I was in prison and that meant so much to me to have you nanny mom and dawn come see me even though I messed up you were there and I know I could see how proud you were when I got better I will never forget that and never forget the smiles on your faces. We have so many good memories and I cry when I think of the song you used to sing sweet low sweet chariot I love you so so much and yours and nanny’s memories mean so much to me. Until we meet again I will always hold y’all so dearly to my heart just because you never gave up on me. I know y’all are dancing with Jesus now and not worrying about anything which makes me happy to know you don’t have to worry anymore. I love you so much 

Dawn and l were riding in the car this morning.  There was a song on it was about never giving up. Told her that when I was learning how to ride my 
pony  Dobbin. And when fell off you made get back on and learn how to ride him. You told me that it would always acted up if I didn't show it I was not afraid of him. He was great after that. I could ride him but he wouldn't let anyone else.  I miss you so much. It's hard to stay in this house again.  Dawn hasn't gone home yet I think she thinks by staying that it would be easier for both us. I know you loved your grandchildren so much. They will all miss you. I know they were a lot of people waiting on you. You have made a great impact on a lot of people.  Jay has put your chair to rest. Nobody gets to sit in John Conns chair.  I will always love you hope you knew that. THIS IS NOT GOOD BY. ITS TILL WE MEET AGAIN. TILL THEN GIVE EVERYONE MY LOVE.
