Roger is survived by his daughter Cortney Peed, son in law Jeremy; his son John Austin Hall, daughter in law Mallory; his beloved grandchildren, Easton Peed, Emery Peed, Finley Hall, Thatcher Hall, Quaid Hall, and Yates Hall. He is also survived with love by Deborah Thrower Hall and man’s best friend, his dog, Bud.
Roger is preceded in death by his father John C. Hall and his mother Velmus Sims Hall. Roger was an only child and had always looked forward to the heavenly reunion with his parents.
Roger was born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 21, 1952.
He attended Guntersville High School and graduated with the class of 1971.
Roger went on to pursue a degree in Pharmacy and proudly graduated in 1976 from Auburn University. He was a proud supporter of anything related to Auburn University.
Roger was a successful pharmacist working in sales throughout the Southeast and in pharmacies across Alabama. He cared deeply for the people he was able to serve through medicine. If you spent any time with Roger, you would hear him bragging about his children and grandchildren. He was their biggest supporter. He was incredibly proud of each member of his family and loved them all dearly. Over recent years, Roger battled health challenges that included three days a week of dialysis and he had just successfully completed radiation treatments for cancer. Ultimately his heart and body were giving out and he went to be with the Lord and preceding family and friends. His survivors loved him unconditionally and know he is watching over them constantly.
Visitation will be at Moss Service Funeral Home from 11:30-1pm on Wednesday, November 15 with the funeral service immediately following at 1pm. Roger will be laid to rest in Arab Memorial Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.
