John William Dover, of Bremen, AL., formerly of Birmingham, AL. passed away on December 14, 2018, at Birmingham Nursing Home and Rehab in Center Point, AL.
John was a Vietnam Vet and was retired from the Birmingham School System after 25 years of service.
Mr. Dover is preceded in death by his parents: Dale and Mary McMinn Dover of Center Point, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Judy Stricklin Dover of Bremen, AL; children: John Zachary Dover of Brisbane, Australia and Major Andrea G. Dover of Ramstein, Germany; brother, George Martin Dover (Cheryl) of Vera Beach, FL. and North Carolina; mother-in-law, Etheleen Murphree Stricklin of Bremen, AL. and brother-in-law, Loyal E. Stricklin (Sandy) of Bremen, AL.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
