Jane was born October 1, 1936 in Cullman, Alabama. She graduated from Hanceville High School and received a B.A. Degree in Education at St. Bernard College. She taught elementary school for 25 years and was an outstanding educator. All of her students loved her. After her retirement, she enjoyed travelling with her husband Wendell, gardening, tending her roses and other flowers in her garden, and she was also an avid reader and she passed her love of books on to her kids.
Jane was a great cook and always brought something good to church on Sundays. She also provided beautiful flower arrangements for her church for all the changing seasons, as well as care packages and food and flowers for members of the church in need.
Jane loved her dog Sadie. They would often sit together in front of the tv together and watch her favorite shows. Sadie was such a great companion to her and I know she will miss her dog mom.
Jane was preceded in death by her father Lewis Holmes Formby, her mother Florence Formby, brother Robert Formby and her sister Louise Burford. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wendell Watts; Children: Gary Watts(Mary), Robyn Crawford(Victor) Niece: Josephine Burford Grandchildren: Christi Watts(Will), Aaron Watts(Andrea) Great grandchildren: Alex Watts and Aiden Watts, and a host of other family members and friends
