Hazel Beatrice Rushing

Hazel was a longtime member of Prospect Church of Christ. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her flower garden and yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Asa L. Rushing; sons: Terry Rushing and Steven Rushing; sisters: Ardes Moore, Opal Rushing and Mullis Williams and brothers: Roger Speegle, Cecil Speegle, Curtis Speegle, Herman Speegle, Duell Speegle and Dorman Speegle.

Her survivors include her daughters: Sandra Rushing Sinyard and Karen Rushing; daughter-in-law, Kathryn Rushing; brother, Ray Speegle; grandchildren: Byron (Heather) Sinyard, Errick Sinyard, Bridget Rushing (Matt) Hill and Rockie (Leslie) Rushing; 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A public viewing will be available on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a limited number of guests will be allowed in at a time. A private family graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery.
