I met Clint about 15 years ago while motorcycling with Dr. Bob Nesbitt.  Clint was one of those interesting people you meet in life that was a great conversationalist and knew a great deal about everything you could talk about ! I was shocked that he had passed. He will be missed ! 

Used to love visiting you . Motorcycles, farms and all . Love ya Tink.

There are so many things I could say about Clint. First and foremost he was always a very friendly and cheerful person. He was one of those people that you enjoyed running in to. He always greeted you with a smile and made your day more enjoyable by being around him.
He was always a very giving person and used his time and talents to help others throughout his community, sometimes without recognition.
He was one of the smartest people I ever knew, yet never boasted about that intelligence and never made others feel less intelligent when they were around him.
He was a great businessman and maximized his abilities to grow both personally and through his company.
I wish he could have lived out his dream of being a boat captain. I can't image all the stories that would have been told about his many adventures.

Of all the things he was above, most importantly, he was a good friend and made a difference in this world by being around us all.

I am so sorry I won’t be able to attend the memorial service; please know that I will continue praying for you and try to take comfort knowing he is at peace in God’s loving arms.

I have very fond memories of Clint Frey.  My husband Mike and Clint worked together, were partners in business and we shared some wonderful dinners and times at their beautiful farm!  Marion and Clint were always so welcoming, so kind, so interested in us and our children, they remember visiting the farm too. One fond memory of Clint I have was our first child Caroline was born premature - arrived 7 weeks early in the middle of the night. First person there was Clint with a big pink bow for our door early the next morning! Both Marion and Clint are beautiful, caring, kind, wonderful people.  I was so sad and shocked to see this news.  I lost Mike 10 years ago, I pray they will be together sharing many stories of their times together - Clint taught Mike so much!  I have not been in close touch the last few years but I always knew if I needed anything Clint would be one I could call.  I will be praying for all the family - it is so hard to lose the ones we love so dearly.  Much love to you Marion and to your children! Very fond memories of the Freys from the 1970s, when our families became friends and we would get together in Birmingham or Cullman. The Freys invited my sister Ally and I up to the farm several times in those years and we always had such a wonderful time romping around with JJ and Stephen. I remember even as a young kid being in awe of all the work Clint and Marion and the boys did with their land and the wonderful place they created. Sending deepest condolences to the family.

Clint and Marion were kind, supportive, generous and caring in lending support and comfort to me at a time in my life when I did not have the strength or mental stamina to help myself.  I will never forget their kindness for as long as I live.  
Words cannot convey the depth of the loss his family is suffering now.  I share in their loss and sorrow and send my love and offer my prayers on their behalf.

I have way too many memories to even think of a favorite. For at least ten years if not more Clint and I would meet at Denny's ( and a few other places ) for breakfast . He would usually have already met with a group at Cracker Barrel . We would talk cars, farm equipment , hospital stuff , health issues , children , , just about anything . There wasn't a topic he didn't know something about . He was not a jack of all trades and master of none. He was a jack of all trades and master of them all . I don't know of something that he couldn't fix or make better. For most of this time he had the energy and determination of 3 men. He set out to do a project and he got it done .  Yet he rarely ever said anything abrasive or condemning . He usually would call me about 4/5 of the time with me calling him the remaining 1/5 .  If not for his friendship I don't think I would have weathered many situations . He knew all my secrets and never told a soul. He was one of the best friends I have had in my life and I don't have many . One day before he got sick we were eating our first breakfast out since the pandemic began . I will treasure the time I got to spend with him . I am a better person for the time we spent together. and heaven just got a great handyman who will no doubt spruce up the place if anything at all needs fixing. I will miss you Clint. Tom

So sorry to hear about Clint, I met him on the Good Hope Planning Commission, he taught me so much.   He was a good friend and he will be missed greatly.

I had reconnected with Tink (my 1st cousin) after at least 30 years through Face Book messaging March 7, 2018. 
We started sharing what we had been doing over the years. We talked about our travels, work projects, and the fact that he and Marion wanted to take a trip to Alaska, where I lived at the time. We talked about our childhood adventures when we would visit them before we moved to Florida. It was so nice catching up.  We stayed in touch like that over the next 2 years, and then my sister Debbie  and I finally decided to go for a visit. It was wonderful! That was the summer of 2019. 
I am so glad we had that special time. All of the Frey’s in Florida will miss our cousin “Tink.”

I initially met Clint when I was working at St. Vincent’s and had the great fortune of working with him while I was at CRMC. Oh how he loved that hospital and took his position on the Foundation Board and on the Hospital Board very seriously. A perfectionist with everything he was involved in! Thanks so much for your friendship, guidance and always being so well versed in your field. You will be missed by so many on this earth. Rest In Peace my friend.
