Mrs. Celestine Harper, age 92, of New Home Community in Cullman County, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Diversicare of Arab.

Mrs. Harper was born on March 1, 1927 to Narvel J. Wilson and Hettie Mae Phillips Wilson. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harper is survived by her daughter, Janet Harper of New Home Community and son, Gary Harper of Cullman; sisters: Gladys Harper (Fred) and Elene Hopson; nephews: Jerry Harper (Carilyn), John Harper (Debbie), Keith Harper (Karen) and Wayne Burgett (Norma); nieces: Patsy Bryson, Sherry Harper, Diane Garrison and Martha Warner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gart Harper and sisters: Helen Allen and Ellen Wilson.

Funeral Service will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with burial immediately following in the New Home Cemetery. Her family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. until service time. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will include: Keith Harper, Wayne Burgett, Shane Bryson, Tim Kelsoe, Joe Garrett and Jeff Sigmon.
