I'm  so sorry Peggy    All my memories of you ,Bobby, and your children  when we was at TPC are good memories   Prayers and  hugs to all your family.

During the time I stayed with the Calvert family in my teens, Bobby and I had a lot of fun working on the farm, he was always doing anything he could to make me laugh. In the summer months after doing chores, we would head across the street, down a path and jump in Smith Lake swimming or just walking the side of the lake. Winter months walking through the woods as he taught me how to navigate my way so I could get back home on my own, he liked to hunt rabbits, I hated it cause it was so cold and I would have to be quiet.   We had so many conversations about a little bit of everything. I actually introduced him to Peggy as we worked at the same place on a school work program, I worked for the Navy Recruiting office and she the Army.  Bobby looked out for me like a brother would a  sister, protected me from situations and taught me the country living ways, as I came from the city of Montgomery. RIP Bobby, see you in the promised land.

So glad to become friends with Bobby and Peggy while stationed  at Fort Carson. I was truly  blessed to meet his family while visiting his home in Alabama. My thoughts and prayers  are with the family during this  time. Wish I could be there at this time. Love and prayers

I met Sgt Bobby Calvert & his wife Peggy in summer of 74 at Fort Carson, Colorado, 19th Military Police Company working at Confinement facility. We not only worked as correctional MP’s, but had many a party on our off times. Myself, Larry Herrin & Holly Kassing were all long time friends. Bobby will be missed and my prayers and condolences to Peggy & his family for their loss. 

Working with Bobby for years at TPC was a pleasure.  Remember sitting next to him working on something.  Kept hearing his heart valve clicking. I asked him if the sound bothered him.  He said not as much as if I didn't hear it!!  prayers and thoughts to his family.  

My deepest condolences to the family praying for peace and comfort during these trying days. I served with Bobby at Dobbins ARB and it was a pleasure to know and work with him. He will be missed by many. 

Yuni and I were so sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. He and Peggy were a special kind of blessing to Dorcas Baptist Church. We are praying that God’s hand will be on all of you at this sad time. God bless and comfort all of you.
