His Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, at 3:00 pm. His family will receive friends prior to the service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow his service at Bethsadia Cemetery. Family invites men to wear their baseball caps or hats in his memory.
Gut enjoyed music, Alabama football, Dukes of Hazzard, and tinkering on anything with an engine. He worked mostly in the construction industry and driving a rock truck.
He was preceded in death by his daddy, William Thomas Guthrie and grandparents: Roy and Dorris Guthrie and David O. Brown.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Jessica, sons Ethan William and Brayden Nathaniel; mother, Tina Brown Guthrie; brothers: David (Jayme) Guthrie and Jason Guthrie; sisters: Christy Guthrie, Donna Guthrie and Elizabeth Guthrie; grandmother, Joan (Joe) Downing and nieces and nephews: Adrien Hargrove, Kaden Guthrie and Zaylie Guthrie.
