Ann Elizabeth Tucker, 86 passed away at Cullman Regional Medical Center on Thursday, August 16, 2012. She was born in Brighton, MA a suburb of Boston, on May 20, 1926. A memorial service will be held in Concord, Massachusette, near to Mrs. Tucker home town.

Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husbands, John Ventura of Kingston, MA and Thomas P. Tucker of Natick, MA. The Tuckers lived in Massachusetts and Florida. Mrs. Tucker moved to Cullman after her husband’s death to be near family.
Mrs. Tucker was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as an efficient and innovative librarian, secretary, and publication sales analyst. Throughout her life she enjoyed many activities. She was a passionate lover of classical music and managed the early musical activities of her children who are all musicians. She loved spending time with her family, reading, creative writing, watching films, hiking, swimming, ice-skating, playing tennis, traveling, and watching Red Sox and Jaguar games. She was an accomplished Scrabble player even up to the day she died. She attended Sacred Heart Church, while living in Cullman. She gave generously to many charities and made friends quickly wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her sister, Ethel Marie Vadeboncoeur of Saco, ME; her sons, Alan (Suzanne) Ventura of Townsend, MA; Andrew (Nancy) Ventura of Kasson, MN; Brian (Rebekah) Ventura of Farmington Hills, MI; Daniel Ventura of Tampa, FL; her daughter Julie (Vic) Ventura-Gobbell of Cullman; seven grandchildren: Lauren and Thomas Ventura, Sarah and Elise Ventura, Jillian Ventura, Karen (Zachary) Gill and Joanna Gobbell; one great-grandson Gavin Gill; two nieces, a nephew, their children; three step-sons; a step-daughter; several step-grandchildren and cousins in other states.
