Funeral Services for Mr. Alton Gene Gibbs, age 76 of Hanceville, will be Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Gibbs passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 23, 1935 in Cullman to the late Burt & Lucille Crumbley Gibbs.
Alton is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Tommy Wayne Gibbs; one sister, Betty Denson; and one brother, Ralph Gibbs.
Survivors include his Wife – Francis Gibbs; one Daughter – Jean (Leon) Kelso; 8 – Grandchildren; 12 – Great-Grandchildren; one Sister – Reba (Huey) Vaughn; and three 3 – Brothers – Kenneth (Linda) Gibbs, Jerry (Jean) Gibbs and Jack (Rosealee) Gibbs.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
