Ron Damitz

Damitz, Ron age 59 passed away on December 17, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Ron was born in Milwaukee to Roy and Aleda Damitz and spent his life in Cudahy with his beloved wife of 37 years, Lynn. He was the loving father of Andrea (Tim) Damitz-Liegler, Gina, and Alisa and caring grandfather of Olivia, Sophia, and Amelia. Ron was the dear brother-in-law of Cherie (Tony) Day, Jim (Mary) Chovanec, and Gail (Tim) Galaska, and he will be missed by a special aunt, Dorothy Smith. After retiring from Ladish Co., where he worked as a machinist for 40 years, Ron enjoyed spending time with his family. He was said to be the life of the party, and he will forever be remembered as a “jokester.” His kindness and humor will truly be missed by all. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Margery Howard, Dr. Stephen Lei, and the nurses from the 12th floor at St. Luke’s Medical Center. A Visitation for Ron will be held on Saturday December 28th 2013 from 9:00 AM till 11:30 AM, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM, both at Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church in Cudahy.
