Nicholas Arthur Komater, 32, of Cary, IL, passed away on July 4, 2022. He was born in Libertyville, IL on April 4, 1990 and graduated from Fremd High School before finding his place in sales for numerous companies. Nicholas married his late wife Brittanie Wilson Komater in June of 2018.
Nicholas was proud of his artwork! He had a dream to become a tattoo artist with the hope to show off his artwork. He enjoyed rock collecting and was compassionate towards all animals.
Nicholas is survived by his beautiful daughters, Lotus Anne-Marie Komater and Kinslie Renee Komater; his mother, Dawn Marie Rogers; his step-father, Jim A. Rogers; his dad, Charles “Bill” W. Cornwell Jr.; his father, Eric Erlandson; and his siblings, Charles “Chaz” W Cornwell III, Lauren Crifasi, and Elliot Crifasi; his nieces, Violette Faye Cornwell and Delilah Rowen Stohr; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Owen Crifasi; his grandparents, Arthur and Carol Komater, Charles W. Cornwell Sr., Lucy “YaYa” Petrich and Jacqueline “PomPom” A. Kelly.
Visitation will be held on July 22, 2022 from 2pm to 5pm at Querhammer and Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5pm. Memorial donations may be made to Helping Paws Animal Shelter of Woodstock, IL.
