John Bos

He was born March 25, 1925 in Chicago to Martin and Rose (Kohing) Bos. In December of 1949 he married Jean Martin.

John worked hard all of his life. His first job was in a factory and he then went on to drive coaches for Dufield Garage and finally he was a bus driver and mechanic for District 47 & 155 for 30 years. He enjoyed truck farming in the summer with his dad and wife. John enjoyed meeting new people. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, Ben (Donna) Martin, and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a brother and sister.

Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Thursday, April 21 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The service will be at 11am.

Entombment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.

Memorials may be made to Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake or the American Cancer Society.
